PRESCOTT, ARIZONA.
The Saddles 100 begins in stillness. As first light breaks over the Arizona high desert, mountains edge the horizon and silence carries weight. Runners gather with a single choice: 50 miles or 100.
Each path is its own pilgrimage. An act of endurance through dust, pine, and shifting stone. Here, the challenge is not only distance but what rises within it.

Saddles 50 Miler - 10/4
Dusting off the rust from his top-20 finish at CCC only weeks ago, Stian returns to the Arizona desert. A pilgrim moving into high-country silence, searching not for result but for renewal. Time off after CCC gave body and mind their quiet and rest. Now the hills around Prescott will wake them again. Grateful simply to arrive, surrounded by those he loves, Stian stands calm. Ready for anything the desert asks.

Saddles 50 Miler - 10/4
After early spring in the Colorado desert, London-based SATISFY Pro Vaida Nakrosiute returns once more to the solitude of the American West. Exchanging concrete and cobblestones for dust, rock, and wide silence. Her summer was shaped on steep ground: Marathon du Mont Blanc, the Laugavegur Ultra in Iceland. Now that work meets the pines above Prescott, where distance and beauty move together. With no fixed goal, Vaida will invite the day to unfold. At peace within the community, present before a landscape she has yet to discover.
