General Care Guide
Our gear is engineered to move seamlessly with you, but dirt and wear can cut its journey short. Thoughtful care ensures every piece remains functional and dependable—whether storing, washing, or repairing, this guide helps keep it ready for the trails ahead.
Storing Your SATISFY Gear
Keep your SATISFY apparel in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to preserve the integrity of the fabrics. When packing or storing, ensure the gear is free from sharp or abrasive objects to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.
How to Wash Your SATISFY Gear
Many of our fabric technologies are designed to dry quickly and feature antibacterial properties, allowing them to stay fresh between sessions. To preserve their performance and longevity, we recommend washing only when necessary. Before washing, separate dark and light-colored garments to avoid color transfer. Close all zippers, release tension on elastic drawcords, and ensure pockets are empty to prepare your gear for the wash. Most SATISFY gear is designed to be machine-washed using these general instructions, but a few exceptions require extra care.
Keep It Cool Wash in cold water (maximum 30°C/86°F) to protect fabrics and prevent shrinking.Choose Gentle Detergents Opt for mild, fragrance-free detergents. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can degrade technical fibers and diminish features like moisture-wicking and odor control.Select a Delicate Cycle Use a delicate or gentle wash cycle to minimize agitation and reduce high spin speeds that can damage fabrics.
Prepare the Basin Fill a sink or basin with cold water.Add Detergent Use a small amount of mild detergent.Wash Gently Submerge your SATISFY gear and lightly agitate.Rinse Thoroughly Ensure all detergent is removed with cold water.

Drying Your Gear
Air dry your gear whenever possible to help maintain its shape and extend its lifespan. Most items can be hung or laid flat in a shaded area to dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight, which can degrade fabrics and fade colors. Steer clear of tumble dryers, as high heat can damage technical fabrics and may delaminate bonded seams.
Special Care For Specific Technologies
Certain SATISFY fabrics require extra attention to preserve their performance properties. Follow these tailored care tips to keep your gear in peak condition.
Merino wool combines natural odor resistance with thermoregulation, making it ideal for performance:
Protect In The Wash If machine washing, use a garment bag to shield the fabric.Hand Wash Recommended Wash by hand when possible and reshape while damp to maintain its fit.Dry Flat Lay flat on a clean surface to dry naturally, preserving its structure.
SATISFY’s Pertex® technology delivers an ultra-lightweight, waterproof, and breathable shell designed for superior weather protection:
Spot Clean for Longevity Use a damp sponge or soft cloth to remove minor dirt or stains while preserving the waterproof membrane.Gentle Machine Washing When necessary, machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle using a technical fabric cleaner designed for waterproof garments.Reactivating Waterproofing After washing, tumble dry on low heat for 10–15 minutes or use a low-heat iron to reactivate the durable water-repellent (DWR) coating.Store With Care Ensure the fabric is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew. Avoid sharp folds to maintain the integrity of the membrane.
