From May 5 to 10, Cocodona 250 sends runners across 250 miles of Arizona, starting in Black Canyon City and finishing in Flagstaff.
The course climbs through desert, canyon, pine forest, and heat. Elevation stacks. Temperatures swing. It’s one of the most demanding ultra-distance races in the world.
SATISFY returns to Mile 96.6, Fain Ranch Aid Station, a critical stop before the long push north. A place to reset, refuel, and gather yourself before the next stretch.

SATISFY Fain ranch aid station
At Mile 96.6, Fain Ranch is where SATISFY meets the course. A remote stretch of ranch land outside Prescott Valley, it’s one of Cocodona’s most important aid stations, a place to reset after nearly 100 miles and prepare for what’s still to come.
We return with a full support experience for runners: shaded recovery space, refined hydration and fuel, and time to rest and recharge before pushing into the second half of the course.

SATISFY PROS ON COURSE
This year, SATISFY Pros Michael Versteeg and Max Jolliffe are both taking on the full 250 miles of Cocodona, through desert heat, mountain climbs, and everything in between.

Michael Versteeg
For Mike, Cocodona is a yearly pilgrimage. A 250-mile checkpoint across the state he calls home, measuring growth, change, and intention.
Since the inaugural race, he’s become a father, launched Saddles, his own race in Arizona, and brought new structure and focus to his training. But it’s never just about performance. It’s about building something lasting, personal, and creative.
We’re proud to support him as he returns to the start line once again.

Max Jolliffe
Max is no stranger to distance or the desert. But Cocodona is a new frontier.
After proving himself in Moab’s red rock canyons, he returns to Arizona for his first 250-mile effort, ready for the highs, lows, and everything in between. He knows the course won’t play fair, but that’s part of the draw.
For Max, it’s not about control. It’s about adapting, staying sharp, and meeting whatever the desert throws his way.
We’ll be there, every mile, cheering for something extraordinary. Good luck, Max.
